Footfire Camp accommodates a range of physical levels and learning styles.
New this year: we're planning an exciting innovative curriculum to develop the Footfire Soccer player. The beginner will be quickly engaged by accessible skill-building activities. The more experienced players will be challenged to improve.
You can't play soccer all day (although some of our campers want to). Eventually, campers need to refuel, relax and explore other activities. Between the three daily soccer sessions campers are treated to simple and delicious food for snacks and lunch. Instead of the third soccer session campers can opt to make the Art Project or participate in recreational activities. Many campers, especially our younger ones, look forward to spending the third session with activities such as water play, hiking and games. Campers are especially exicted to see the art materials arrive. Our Art "Menu" has grown to include over twenty-five major projects, changing each day. Campers show off their Footfire creations! Footfire: always healthy and fun!
Footfire snacks and lunch provide the nutritional boost you need! Each day snacks and lunch are freshly prepared in our Footfire kitchen. The menu is specially crafted to suit children's tastes (and curb parents' concern). Campers look forward to their favorites such as homemade muffins and fruit-flavored yoghurt-in-a-cone. And for lunch we'll keep the crowd pleasers like Caribbean Chicken with rice and twirly pasta with freshly cooked tomato sauce, but add a new item or two just for fun. Who knows what Caroline will cook up for 2012. Her motto: meals I'd be proud to serve my own family.
